Understanding the licensing

The following system link licenses are available for the Publisher and must be installed on a Meridian Enterprise License Server:

• BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise link (M--PUS) for publishing to and from a  BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise vault.

Note    One Meridian Enterprise database connection license (Hypertrieve, SQL Server, or Oracle) is required for each Publisher computer.

• Windows file system link (FS--PUS) for publishing to and from a Windows file system.
• SharePoint system link (M--PSP) for publishing to a SharePoint library.
• Legacy system link (I--PUS, D--PUS, L--PUS) to use prior generation publishing modules. Before purchasing this license, contact BlueCielo ECM Solutions Technical Support for assistance with determining the compatibility of the legacy module.
• Meridian Project Portal system link (K--PUS) for publishing to and from a Meridian Project Portal workspace.

All system link licenses include the use of:

• AutoVue 2D rendering module. Rendering 3D models requires an AutoVue 3D license.
• Meridian Enterprise vault extensions
• Client applications for the system links to support publishing

The following rendering module licenses are available for the Publisher and must be installed on a Meridian Enterprise License Server:

• Native Application rendering module (M--PNR) for rendering through AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Microsoft Office.
• eSignature module (M--PES) for applying watermarks, electronic signatures, and signature pages to renditions.
• PDF Merge rendering module (M--PMD) for combined rendering and merging into a single Adobe PDF file.

Note    When configured in a cluster, all Publisher computers (master and subordinates) require their own licenses.
